It’s that time of year, again! The Laramie County Fair has returned and we are so excited about the variety of events that will be taking place, each day! Steeped in rich tradition, we love the sense of community fostered by the fair and know that it will be a great time, as always!
The Laramie County Fair
Founded in 1907, The Laramie County Fair is a tradition that remains a staple in our community that celebrates its 110th anniversary, this year. After moving from location to location, local residents have made it clear that they want the fair to have a permanent home at Frontier Park at the Archer Complex where construction will begin in the next few years.
Fun for All Ages
The Laramie County Fair offers fun for all ages! Some of the events, this year, include:
- Tractor Pull
- Demolition Derby
- Mutton Bustin’
- Pig Wrestlin’
- Open Horse Show
- Open Dog Show
- Heifer Jackpot Show
- Youth Jackpot Show
- Ranch Rodeo
- Poultry Show Not only will there be many animals featured at the fair (horses, dogs, poultry – even alpaca!), but there will be amazing food of all varieties available! If you have a recipe that everyone loves, why not enter the Best of Laramie County Pie Baking Contest?
